Reuben Chester Carter

Reuben Chester Carter, 58, of Little Rock, passed away Aug. 2, 2013. He was born June 15, 1955.
Reuben, a 33-year veteran of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, was respected and loved for his leadership, generosity, kind spirit, and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Delores Carter; and a brother, Bruce David Carter.
He is survived by a son, Reuben Paul Carter and wife Jennifer; two brothers, Ed Wolfe and Charles Carter and wife Lynn; a sister, Frances Carter-Collatt; nieces, Tammy Logan-Lowe and Marty Harvey (Styles); and a nephew, Charles Derek Carter.
Graveside service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.,Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bauxite. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
