Rev. Grover L. Farrow, 82, passed away July 25, 2013. Grover was born March 11, 1931, in Oak Grove, La. Rev. Farrow pastored the Pentecostal Church of God in Bryant for 14 years. He enjoyed spending time camping and fishing at Tar Camp and Lake Sylvia. His children and grandchildren enjoy reminiscing of happy times spent at deer camp with him.
Grover was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Alba Farrow; four brothers; and one sister.
Grover is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Farrow of Lonsdale; one son, Larry Farrow and wife Tammie of Lonsdale; one daughter; Gail Crutchfield and husband Richard of Malvern; seven grandchildren, David Kirkendoll and wife Christiana, Lucretia Hathcock and husband Cecil, Nathan Farrow and wife Erin, Michael Crutchfield and wife Leslie, Pastor Matt Crutchfield and wife April, Adam Crutchfield, Rev. Brad Crutchfield and wife Samantha; five great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive, as well as many other family members and friends, all of whom loved him dearly and will miss him always.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, with Rev. Brad Crutchfield officiating. The service will take place at Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, 322 N. Market St. in Benton.
Burial will follow at Cameron Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Pastor Matt Crutchfield, Adam Crutchfield, Michael Crutchfield, David Kirkendoll, Cecil Hathcock and Nathan Farrow. Honorary pallbearers are Al Farrow, Mark Farrow, Dave Reedy, Tim Greer, Jake Sky-Eagle, Keith Wafer and Danny Sky-Eagle.
