Richard 'Dicky' Lyndon Redmon

Richard 'Dicky' Lyndon Redmon, 72, of Benton passed away May 27, 2013, at his home. He was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Pine Bluff.
Richard was retired from Alexander Human Development Center, working also at Reynolds Metals Corp. and served in the Army National Guard.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lyndon Redmon and Nadine Harmon; and his grandmother who raised him, Gertrude Wallace Terry.
He is survived by his brother, Dan Harmon of Bull Shoals; a sister, Donna Wright of Benton; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and his aunts, Hazel Lane and Emogene Scott.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Forest Hills Cemetery. Ashby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Rodney Wright, Randy Wright, Ronnie Vehn, Roger Winfield, Pat McNeil, Tom Bowden, Jerry Andrews, Tommy Hicks and Alfonzo Debeza.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at his home, 100 Wright Road in Benton.
