Rocky Brooks Denison

Rocky Brooks Denison, 61, of Benton passed away on March 16, 2014.
He was born Jan. 7, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas. He graduated from UALR in 1986 with an associate degree in nursing.
He retired in February 2013 from the VA Hospital, where he was an RN and a member of the Emergency Medical Response Team.
He also served as a constable in Saline County and a volunteer firefighter in Salem.
Rocky was an avid guitar and harmonica player. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the CAC Harley Owners Group.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and an amateur radio operator with the call sign W5ROC. 
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Cris and Charles Denison; and a brother, Ricky.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his children, Ashley, Brook Metzler and Houston Metzler; a brother, Randy; a sister, Robbie King (Roger); seven nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 19, at the funeral home.
