Ronnie G. Whitley, 62, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Tuesday, November 27. He was the son of the late, Larence H. and Goldie DeLong Whitley. Mr. Whitley was a member of Cornerstone Church and had served in the Tennessee National Guard.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sherry N. Whitley and Carol Whitley Young.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda Kay Gatlin Whitley, son, Gary Whitley and wife, Linda and daughter, Carla Grebert and husband, Michael. Brother-in-law, Philip Gatlin and wife, Becky and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt Juliet, Tn, with Pastor Deeanna Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Brush Creek Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 30 and one hour prior to services Saturday by Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN.
