Ruben 'Eddie' Williams

Ruben “Eddie” Williams, 62, passed away Oct. 2, 2013. Eddie was born Dec. 14, 1950, in Little Rock to the late Ruben Williams and Helen Ford. Eddie worked for Murry’s Dinner Playhouse, where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Williams.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Earline Williams of Bryant; two daughters, Early Sobba and husband Lee of Hot Springs and Annette English of Bryant; grandchildren, Steven Forrest and wife Savannah,, Allen and Garrett Polston, Sean Sobba, Samantha Stewart and husband Todd, and Cody and Justin Patterson; great-grandchildren, Jaylin and Tracie Stewart, Tysen Forrest, Allie Polston, and Logan Potts; a nephew, Virgil Williams Jr.; niece, Shana Williams;cousins, Shaun and Jason Ford; and a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him always.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, 322 N. Market St. in Benton. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Highway 89, in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at the funeral home. For information, call 501-778-7100
