Ryan Kierulf Palludan

August 26, 2013

Ryan Kierulf Palludan, 18, of Bryant passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013.
Ryan was well known for his contagious smile, big heart and ability to make people around him happy.  He was a gentle giant.
Ryan loved the Florida Gators Football team.  One of the happiest times in his life was when he was able to see his team play in the 2013 Sugar Bowl. He also loved his girlfriend, Natalie; fishing, traveling, music, and little children.
Ryan was a 2013 graduate of Bryant High School and had enrolled at UALR with the goal of a nursing career, which follows in his mother's footsteps. The cause of death was a dissected aorta.
He is survived by his parents, Deborah and Phillip Palludan; a brother, Ole Kristoffer Palludan; his two sisters, Neva Elizabeth Westbrook and Katherine Danielle Palludan; his girlfriend, Natalie Norwood of Benton, as well as many family and friends from around the world.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Stagecoach Road (formerly Highway 5 North) in Bryant.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at the funeral home
Ryan’s lifestyle was bright and cheerful in thought and in the way he dressed. The family requests that friends visiting or attending services honor Ryan by dressing in the Gator Colors (orange and blue) or something bright and cheerful.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Ryan Palludan Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of UALR, 2801 S. University, Little Rock, AR 72204
