Sammie Lois Patton

Sammie Lois Patton, 87, of Benton passed away June 6, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 22, 1926, to the late Charlie and Estelle Noles in Seagraves, Texas.
Sammie was an avid reader and loved working in her flower garden, sewing and quilting. She retired from Teletype after 20 years of employment.
Sammie was a member of North Bryant Baptist Church for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 59 years, William Earl Patton.
She is survived by her four daughters, April Counts and husband James, Deborah Radican and husband Skip, Rebecca Patton and Yvonne Lovell and husband Richard; her son, Charles Patton and wife Jeanette; five grandchildren, Jenny, Amy, Laura, Jesse and Lucas; three great-grandchildren, Abby, Lizzie and Aidan; two sisters, Louise Cooke and Lillian Hart; and many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at North Bryant Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
