Sarah (Betty) Green Talbert

Sarah (Betty) Green Talbert, age 85, of Little Rock, formerly of Sardis, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012.  She was born January 13, 1927 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Mrs. Talbert was a homemaker and a member of Primrose Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie J. Poe; husband, William Darrell Green, Sr. and a sister, Margaret Dobson.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Henderson of Bryant and Judy Surrett of Little Rock; two sons, Darrell Green Jr. and wife Stacey of Little Rock and Charles Green and wife Michele of Malvern; sister, Midge Kilgore of Little Rock; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
 
Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29 at Ashby Funeral Home.
 
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30 at McPherson Cemetery in Sardis.
