Scottie Sue (Noel) Stevens

Scottie Sue (Noel) Stevens,, 77, of Benton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
She was born Nov. 26, 1934. in Halliday to the late Purvis Noel and Marie (Hampton) Noel.
She was baptized in 1948 at New Liberty Baptist Church in Greene County, in a pond in Marmaduke and has been an active member of First Baptist Church of Benton since March of 1957.  Mrs. Stevens retired as business manager for the Benton School District.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Leroy Stevens; her daughter, Susan Wilson and husband John of Benton; three grandchildren, Julie Bittle and husband Matthew of Benton, Christie Pinney and husband Dr. Ted Pinney of Bryant, Aaron Wilson and wife Suzanne of West New York, N.J.; her six great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tatum Pinney, Jackson and Mollie Bittle, and Chelsea and Bryce Wilson; her sister, Judy Pilz and husband Jerry of Branson, Mo.; her special cousin, Lou Ann Kingston of Benton; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. 
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.
