Sgt. Roger Dale Bullard Sr.

Sgt. Roger Dale Bullard Sr., 64 , of Benton, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
He was born Jan. 21, 1949, in Benton.
Roger was a Vietnam War Army veteran and retired from the Saline County Sheriffs Office as a sergeant.  He was a member of the F.O.P. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Roger was the co-founder of the Saline County Deputy Sheriffs Association and helped build the Saline County Sheriffs Training Facility. 
He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Bullard; his mother, Thelma Lee Ables; and a brother, Lonnie E. Ables Jr.
He is survived by his sister, Pat Eggers of Bigelow; two brothers, Robert Bullard of Alabama and Louis Bullard of Benton; two sons, Roger Bullard Jr. and Paul Bullard; two daughters, Renee Davis and Ronda “Cissie” Ezzeldin, all of Benton; extended family, Tim and Renee Dudderar of Bryant, Michelle Hardin Burks of Bauxite, Billy Sharp of Traskwood and Jeff Ramsey of Haskell; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the Saline County Sheriffs Office at 735 S. Neeley St. in Benton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Saline County, P.O. Box 305, Benton, AR 72018.
