Shirley Mae Boyette, 77 of Benton died Tuesday, September 13, in Little Rock. She was born October 9, 1933 in Keevil, Arkansas. Shirley was a retired teachers aide for the Benton Schools and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Curtis Sr. and Eva Burrow Curtis, husband, Donald Boyette, son, Dwain Boyette,  and two brothers, George H. Curtis Jr., Billy Bob Curtis.
 
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Boyette; John Boyette; daughter, Christina Bradshaw all of Benton; brothers, Nathan Curtis Sr. and Larry Curtis, both of Benton; sisters, Virginia Vandergriff of Malvern; Russlyn Krueger of Little Rock; Kathy Curtis of Benton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Harmony Cemetery on Hwy 10.
 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Ashby’s.
