Shirley May McGinley Evans

Shirley May McGinley Evans, 82, of Nashville, formerly of Benton and Bryant, died on Saturday, Sept. 15, at a Nashville nursing home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Little Rock, to Connell and Lillie Tull McGinley.
She was a graduate of Bryant High School and a longtime bookkeeper at White Furniture in Benton. She was a faithful member of both Benton and Bryant First United Methodist churches.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond E. Evans; a son-in-law, Rick Castleberry' and a brother, Harold McGinley.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie Evans Castleberry of Nashville; two granddaughters, Courtney Worthen and husband Jeff of Benton and Kate Kuykendall and husband Marc of Nashville; two great-granddaughters, Kyleigh and Landrey Kuykendall of Nashville; a brother, Bill McGinley and wife Bonnie of Sardis; a sister, Maxine Wine and husband Ed of Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Bryant.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Nashville Funeral Home in Nashville.
