Another in a series of upper level storm systems will pass across Arkansas Tuesday and Tuesday night. Precipitation will form to the est of the area later tonight eventually overspreading the state Tuesday morning.
With cold air already in place across the region, freezing rain will begin to fall over most locations. Some sleet and snow could be mixed at times, especially over North Arkansas.
Temperatures are forecast to climb above the freezing mark across southern and most of central Arkansas by midday on Tuesday. There is the potential for some light ice accumulation across central and west central Arkansas before the precipitation changes over to mainly rain by Tuesday afternoon.
