Stephen Ashley Colvert

Stephen Ashley Colvert, 61, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22.  He was born Sept. 13, 1950, in Little Rock to the late Floyd and Betty Colvert.  Steve was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Benton, and was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.  He loved woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Tracey Noll, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Gail (Phillips) Colvert of Benton; his son, Ryan Colvert and wife Tracie of Benton; two grandchildren, Arianna and Gavin Colvert of Benton; one sister, Kelly Moore of Benton; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with the Rev. Mike Titsworth and the Rev. Kim Hammer officiating. 
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug/ 23, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
