Sue Carol Baber, 79, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Aug.13, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and her dog Zee.
She was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Fort Smith.
Mrs. Baber was a member of Benton's First United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was a member and past president of the Saline Memorial Hospital Medical Auxiliary, a member of the the P.T.A, a den mother and a leader in Bible Study Fellowship. 
Mrs. Baber was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie King; and her husband, Dr. Quin Baber.
She is survived by four sons, Quin Morton Baber III and wife Carol, Adrian Van Baber and wife Laura, John Erin Baber and Brian Alan Baber (Clive ), all of Benton; a sister-in-law, Shirley Baber of Malvern; and four grandchildren, Alissa Hardge, Quin Baber IV, Leigh Ann Baber and Adrianna Baber.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at First United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Mark Smithers, Jack McQuary, Chris Hanson and Michael Brooks.
Members of the Bible Study Fellowship Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 15, at Ashby Funeral Home.
