Teddy bear party set for Thursday at Benton library

May 15, 2013

Library staff members lead a teddy-bear-themed song during the recent Teddy Bear Sleepover at Boswell Library in Bryant.

A Teddy Bear Sleepover for children of all ages is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Herzfeld Library in Benton.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal to the library and enjoy a special storytime filled with stories, songs, games and prizes.
Among the activities will be a puppet show, teddy bear "bounce house" and a teddy bear dance party.
Afterward, children are encouraged to leave their stuffed animal at the library overnight. The stuffed animals will have a sleepover at the library, and library staff will document their activities with photos that participants will receive when they pick their stuffed animal up the following day.
