Theodore Ernest McElroy

On November 2, 2012 one of God’s true Cowboys, Theodore Ernest McElroy, went to be with his Lord.  He grew up in Checotah, OK. with his brother Larry and sisters Mozelle, Betty, Allita, Dewaynea, and Hazel and his loving parents Ernest and Josie.
He had a beautiful life with his wife Pauline and his kids Paula, Sonny, Ricky and Steven. He had six grandchildren, Jeff, Shane, Jacob, Sidney, Checotah, and Alec who loved him with the all of their hearts and whom he loved with the whole of his heart. 
During this Cowboy’s journey of life he made many friends along the way. He was blessed by the love of many. He was ready with a joke and a smile for all who were his friends and even strangers. He was blessed with the love of these friends and family.
He once said “I’ve had a wonderful life” join us in celebrating his wonderful life, on Monday 6-8 P.M. for visitation and a funeral service on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Ashby’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Traskwood Cemetery.
