Thomas Harold Penn, 77, of Benton, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. 
He was born January 8, 1934. 
Mr. Penn was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the Benton Service Center. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lois Penn; brother, William Penn; sister, Mary Lois Brooks and a son-in-law, Brian Wake.
Penn is survived by his wife, Janie Ramsey Penn of Benton; two sons, Brigadier General Kendall Penn and wife Mary of Rock Island, Illinois, and Keith Penn and wife Kristine of Benton; daughter, Kristi Hampel and husband Brad of Benton; two brothers, James and Gary Don Penn both of Benton; and ten grandchildren, Austin, Abbey, Anna Grace, Aubree, Julie, Becca, Lois, Cody, Chase and Craig.
Pallbearers will be Danny Penn, Josh Zuber, Bradley LeQuieu, Jaret and Jordan Rogers, Aaron Hilborn, Jason and Derek Watts, Josh Tillery, Johnny Davis, Logan Ramsey and Kolton Gaiser.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 19 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 20 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Moore Cemetery.
