Thomas Rueben Dempsey

Thomas Rueben Dempsey, 70, of Haskell passed away Jan. 8.  He was born Feb. 7, 1942 in Marked Tree to the late S.L. and Berdie Harbison Dempsey.  
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Emma Jean Moody.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Dempsey of Haskell; three sons, Timothy Dempsey and wife Twyla of Leola, Terry Dempsey and wife Laura of Traskwood and Tracy Lindsey of Harrisburg; a daughter, Christina Dempsey and fiance Timothy Covert of Haskell; a brother, Claudie Dempsey of Haskell; a sister, Norma Jean Lindsey of Harrisburg; one grandchild, John Thomas Dempsey; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Fairplay Cemetery with Brother Larry Mattingly officiating.
Cremation was by Ashby Funeral Home.
