Tillar Marie Williams

Tillar Marie Williams of Benton departed this life on April 8. She was born Aug. 30, 1947 in Bauxite to the late Watson,Sr., and Constance Madison.
She attended the last graduating class of the Ralph Bunche School in Benton.  She also attended Shorter College in North Little Rock. Tillar was united in holy matrimony to Raymond Charles Williams Sr.  To this union, a daughter and son were born.
She was employed at the Alexander Human Development Center for 31 dedicated years as a rehabilitation instructor.
Her passions in life were books, Folgers coffee and Walmart.
She leaves in cherished memories a devoted daughter, Marie Williams of Alexander, and a loving son, Raymond Williams Jr. and wife Latonya of Little Rock; a grandson, Darrion Franklin of Alexander, who was the love of her life; six sisters, Juanita Stevenson and husband Wesley of Ingleside, Texas, Linda Clary and husband Obadiah and Brenda Hernand and husband Marshall, all of Malvern, Constella Bowman and Polly Madison, both of Benton; three brothers, Watson Madison Jr. of Benton, Lemet  Madison of Kileen,Texas, and Ricky Madison of Alexander; and a brother-in-law, Ontaria Richardson of Benton.
Funeral service will be at noon, Saturday, April 14, at the Johnson Street Church of Christ, 101 Johnson St., Benton, with Brother Norman Hurst officiating.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Benton, with services entrusted to P.K. Miller Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 13, at Johnson Street Church of Christ.
