Treba Mildred Fowler

Treba Mildred Fowler, 85, of Benton died Thursday, July 12.
She was born March 27, 1927, in Saline County. Treba was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Since 1954, she had been a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada Garrett Lawrence; her husband, Robert Fowler; a grandson, Patrick Jay Fowler; four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Gary Fowler and wife Pam of Benton; a daughter, Paula Thompson and husband Doug of Haskell; two sisters, Pauline Fooks and Ruth Vandergrift, both of Benton; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Revs. Robbie Horne and Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 13, at the funeral home.
