A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING.

* EVENT...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL DEVELOP AND QUICKLY OVERSPREAD
THE AREA THIS MORNING. MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE A MIXTURE OF
SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN THIS MORNING. SOME SNOW WILL ALSO MIX IN
AT TIME ACROSS NORTHERN ARKANSAS.

* AREAS AFFECTED BY PRIMARILY SNOW AND SLEET...NORTH OF A LINE FROM
WALDRON...TO RUSSELLVILLE...AND UP THROUGH BATESVILLE A MIX OF
PRIMARILY SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR. FOR AREAS NORTH
AND WEST OF CLARKSVILLE...LESLIE...AND MOUNTAIN HOME...IT WILL
BE MAINLY A SNOW AND SLEET MIX...WITH LESS FREEZING RAIN.

* AREAS AFFECTED BY PRIMARILY FREEZING RAIN...MAINLY BETWEEN A
LINE FROM WALDRON...TO RUSSELLVILLE...TO BATESVILLE IN THE NORTH...
AND A LINE FROM ARKADELPHIA TO PINE BLUFF TO DE WITT IN THE
SOUTH. AROUND AND TO THE NORTHEAST OF LITTLE ROCK A MIX OF
FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL BE SEEN...WITH MAINLY FREEZING RAIN
FOR AREAS SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF LITTLE ROCK.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN ACROSS CENTRAL AND WEST
CENTRAL ARKANSAS AROUND DAYBREAK...THEN QUICKLY OVERSPREAD THE
REST OF THE AREA BY MID TO LATE MORNING. A CHANGEOVER TO ALL
RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN EXTENT OF THE ADVISORY AREA
BY MIDDAY. A MIXTURE OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL
LINGER THROUGHOUT THE DAY OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF ARKANSAS.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 2 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS NEAR THE MISSOURI BORDER.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...1/10 TO 1/4 INCH.

* IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE WINTER PRECIPITATION THIS
MORNING...LASTING INTO EARLY THIS EVENING.
