Vicki Dorsch, business manager of The Saline Courier, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant following a brief illness. She was 56.
Dorsch began her career at what was then the Benton Courier in 1986 in the newspaper's composing department. She became business manager a number of years later.

Dorsch was a lifetime resident of Benton, a daughter of the late Paul and Jean Propst. She attended Benton schools, graduating from Benton High School in 1975.
In earlier years she was an employee of Gibson's Department Store in Benton and later Teletype in Little Rock.
She attended Ouachita Technical College, where she was named the Outstanding Student of the Year.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Alicia Ketner; and a nephew, Josh Seamon.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Dorsch; a daughter, Amy Richmond and husband Russell of Little Rock; a son, Jimmy Dorsch, a student at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville; her sister, Christena Baugh and husband Charles of Benton; a brother, John Paul Propst of Benton; and a nephew, John Paul Propst Jr. of Benton.
In keeping with Dorsch's longtime wish, her body has been donated to science.
A memorial service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home.
The family asks that any memorials be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House, 23157 Interstate 30 South, Bryant, AR 72022.
