MLK essay contest winners announced E-mail

Twenty BENTON STUDENTS are winners of this year’s Martin Luther King essay contest and were recognized Saturday at the First United Methodist Church. In fifth grade, winners received $25, second place $15 and third and fourth place $10. In seventh grade, winners received $50 for first place, $25 for second, $15 for third and $10 for fourth. The winners, some of whom were not present Saturday, are Ataka Kammu, Landon Yocumb, Caitlyn Ginther, Brandon Green, Mandi Lancaster, Mandi Kret, Dawson Terry, Cameron King, Jace Callison, Mikayla Nash, Emma Rhodes, Anastasia Mills, Megan Synco, Hayley Ferguson, Kirstie Pigue, Zack Crouch, Rickey Gipson, Coulton Lee, Kayla Payne and Abby Herzfeld.
