Mary Jewel Zuber, 81, of Benton died Tuesday, March 5, 2008.  
She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Pulaski County to Bob and Daisy James.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy A. Zuber; two brother, Olan James and Earl James; a sister, Myrtle Kay Davidson; and granddaughter, Sherry Lynn McMinn.
She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Benton High School.
Survivors include a brother, W.R. “Jessie” James; a daughter, Dianne Milam; three sons, Jimmy Zuber, Ray Anthony “Tony” Zuber and Tracy Zuber; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home, with burial in Cameron Cemetery. The Rev. Vance Nutt will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Family comments: The family would like to give a special thanks to ICU and Hospice Services of Saline Memorial Hospital. Family and friends are invited to come share memories and celebrate Mary’s Life. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Lolly Pop.
