    Marvin Orgel Pinkston, 95, of Bryant, passed from this life Friday, March 7, 2008, at the Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield, Mo.
    He retired from Prickett Dairy in 1975 and was a member of the Assembly of God. He was born Feb. 5, 1913, in Independence County, Ark., to Everett and Gertrude Pinkston. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vergia Pinkston, in May 2000, and brother Ralph Pinkston of Tuckerman, Ark., and infant brothers, Bobby Van and Perry Melvin.
    He is survived by his eight children, Reuben Pinkston Sr. of Bryant, Charles Pinkston of Bryant, Eddie Pinkston and wife Jo of Natchitoches, La., Eleanor Huie of Benton, Melba Whittaker and husband Ray of Spring Hill, Fla,, Veda Thompson and husband Gary of Bryant, Sharon Curths of Bryant, Nancy Pinkston of Overland Park, Kan., and a stepson, G. A.  Perrin of Saffell, Ark.
    Other survivors are a brother, Layton Pinkston and wife Juanita of Russellville; a sister, Velda Bowen and husband Hoover of Tuckerman; 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Otter Creek Assembly of God Church, 9415 Stagecoach Road, Little Rock, by Ashby Funeral Home. Minister will be the Rev. John Tracy,
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Otter Creek Assembly of God Building Fund or the charity of choice.
