Geneva Huey, 94, of Benton died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Sheridan to Henry Lee and Flossie Geneva Segers Holiman. Mrs. Huey was a licensed practical nurse and a member of First Baptist Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Huey; a daughter, Celia Mabry; a son, Floyd Bryant; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Bryant and of Benton and Donna Johnston and husband Parker of Benton; a son, Ozell Mabry of Corpus Christi, Texas; six grandchildren, Steve Bryant and wife Nancy of Brunswick, Ga., Mark Bryant and wife Patti of Benton, Beth Bryant Loeb and husband Bobby of McKinney, Texas, Jason Huey Johnston and wife Katie of Ft. Collins, Colo., Mona Mabry DeVoe and husband Rick of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jennifer Mabry Moreno and husband Mike of Corpus Christi, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth, Sarah Mintory, Jessa, Maddy, Emily, Sydney, Colton, Jacob, Kasey, Taite, Jorel, John Mikael; a sister, Mildred Brown and husband Bill of Benton; and a brother, Ben Holiman and wife Jean of Benton; her Fox Ridge family; and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Grant officiating. There will be no graveside service.
