Robert Carroll Cottrell, 54, of Benton passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at his home.
He was born June 21, 1953, in Camden.
He was a member of Church of Christ, a former police officer for the City of Camden and East Camden, EMT and fireman instructor at SAU Tech in East Camden and was retired from the State Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Cottrell Sr. and Juanita Jordan.
Survivors include one sister, Sharon Parsons and husband Tommy of Tull; two brothers, Ronald Cottrell and Norman Cottrell and his wife Melanie of Benton; and special friend, Matthew Thomasson of Maumelle.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby’s.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull. Minister will be Bro. Tommy Parsons.
