Several students receive scholarships |

Five students have received scholarships to Arkansas colleges.
Suggs receives UCA scholarship
Nick R. Suggs, a Bryant High School senior, has received a scholarship to attend the University of Central Arkansas at Conway.
He is the son of Kim Suggs of Bryant and Jerry Suggs of Little Rock.
Suggs is an Arkansas Scholar and has received two Presidential Academic Achievement awards. He is a member of Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has tutored at the Bryant Boys and Girls Club and played on the basketball and football teams.
Murphy receives HSU scholarship
Chase Murphy, a Benton High School senior, has received a scholarship to attend Henderson State University at Arkadelphia.
He is the son of Jason and Marla Murphy of Benton.
Davis receives UCA scholarship
Leah E. Davis of Marion, who has relatives in Benton, has received a scholarship to attend the University of Central Arkansas at Conway.
She will be a member of the UCA marching band, playing flute and piccolo.
She is the daughter of Douglas and Carmen Davis. She is the granddaughter of Roberta Davis of Benton and the late Harold G. Davis.
Bishop receives HSU scholarship
Payton Ella Bishop of Benton has received an academic success scholarship from Henderson State University at Arkadelphia.
She is the daughter of Bub and Missy Bishop and the granddaughter of Wayne and Melba Bishop and Jerrell and Sandy George, all of Benton.
Cook receives HSU scholarship
Britni Cook, a Bauxite High School senior, has received a scholarship to attend Henderson State University at Arkadelphia.
She is the daughter of Cori Sullivan of Bauxite. |
