Landon Chase Leonard, 24, of Alexander, was born Jan. 22, 1984, and passed away in his sleep Friday, March 21, 2008.
Landon, a 2002 graduate of Bryant High School, was also the assistant manager of Advance Auto Parts in Benton.
Landon was building a Mustang to race with the help of his many friends who have now taken on the job of making sure Landon’s car crosses the finish line at Pinks in Shreveport, La.
Landon is survived by his loving parents, Lannie and Debbie Leonard of Alexander; a sister, Connie Racette of Florida; two grandmothers, Ola Leonard of Little Rock and Melba Collins of Jacksonville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him greatly.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills (455-1067) on Arkansas 5 on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, with visitation beginning at 7 p.m. To sign the online guest book, visit www.griffinleggett.com.
