Phillip C. Raper, 22, of Malvern, passed away March 24, 2008. He was born June 3, 1985, in Little Rock to Phillip and Linda Raper. Phillip was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Raper, Irene Williams Stringfellow Hunter, Clark Stringfellow; great-grandparents, Earnest Luther “Doc” Raper, Myrtle Rood Raper, Ollie Moore, Rose Mae Goodson Moore Davis, George Alexander and Nellie Williams; uncle, Joe Walter Smith; great-great-grandparents, James “Jim” and Ella Francis Moore, Joseph Nicademus Goodson and Addie Belle Alaman Goodson, Zora Alice Stringfellow, William F. Raper and Malissa, Mary Ann Westbrook Raper, William Price Rood and Cordelia “Delia” Clift; and cousin, Tommy Holt. A chapel service by Ashby Funeral Home will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, with H.V. Snowden Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Fairplay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home. Family comments: Phillip was a wonderful person who loved to spend time outdoors. He loved being at the barn with his dad, nieces and nephews, riding horses and playing guitar with his friends. He was a wonderful son, grandson and nephew. Phillip was a delight to be around and was loved by many. His favorite saying to his Nannie and Dad was, “It’s all right.” PAID OBITUARY
