Local senior centers to recognize volunteers |

Volunteers for senior activity centers in Benton and Bryant will be honored at upcoming ceremonies.
An event at the Benton center is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, and an event at the Bryant center is planned for 11 a.m. Friday, May 2.
The Benton center is at 210 Jefferson St. and the Bryant center is at 702 SW Fourth St.
The public is invited to both ceremonies.
Sherry Parsons is director of the Benton center and Mary Vickers is director of the Bryant facility.
Daily activities at both centers include exercise, social interaction, nutrition, transportation services, recreational events, book clubs, computer training and more.
Both facilities are divisions of the Central Arkansas Development Council.
