Richard Faye Piersing, 79, of Benton died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Livingston, Texas.
He was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Chicago Heights, Ill.
He was an instrument technician in the manufacturing industry.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Griffin Piersing; six children, Deborah, Janet, Kathy, Gene, David and Ellen; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Augusta Memorial Park in Augusta with Dr. Rick Grant officiating.
