Dale D. Honeycutt, 78, of Benton died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Saline Memorial Hospital. 
He was born April 10, 1929, in Damascus to Earl and Edna Harris Honeycutt. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Helen Rose McCauley Honeycutt; a brother, Wayne Honeycutt; and sister Earnestine Fairchild.
Survivors include four daughters, Beverly Bailey of Magnolia, Joyce Honeycutt of Benton, Carla and husband Michael Green of Bauxite and Carrie Honeycutt of Benton; sons, Jimmy Dale Honeycutt and wife Vicky of Stephens, James Honeycutt of Benton, Vernon Honeycutt of Bryant, Bill Honeycutt and wife Jackie of Scranton, Penn., and Garland Honeycutt and wife Joyce of Alexander; brother, Martin Honeycutt and wife Jean of Azel, Texas; sister, Mathel Shaw of Cabot; 13 grandchildren, Cynthia Anglin, Mary Triplett, Jennifer Wilson, David Honeycutt, Ashley Kinard, Tommy Blocker, Eddie Honeycutt, Dale Honeycutt, Nicole Honeycutt, Cody Honeycutt, Heather Honeycutt, Jason Green and Michaela Green; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church in Bryant with Pastor Jerry Whitley and Jimmy Brinsfield officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Anglin, Will Triplett, Mike Wilson, David Honeycutt, Ronnie Kinard, and Jason Green. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Whitley, Charlie Handley, Jason Gibson, Tom Mallion, Jimmy Whitley, and Danny Whitley.  Interment service will follow at 1 p.m. in Old Salem Cemetery in Damascus. There is no planned time of visitation.
Funeral arrangements are by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
