    Charles E. Moore, 69 of Bryant, formerly of Little Rock, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at his home.
    Charlie was a 1956 graduate of Little Rock Central High School, a member of the Army Reserve from 1956-1960, and a member of the IBEW Local Chapter 295 for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, woodworking, gardening, collecting antiques, and was an avid Razorback sports fan. Charlie was employed by the Arkansas Gazette for 28 years and worked for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for ten years until his retirement in 2001. Charlie was a lifelong Methodist and recent member of the Henderson United Methodist Church where he was instrumental in the construction of the Family Life Center. Charlie also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roberta Martin Moore; one daughter, Beth Moore and husband Jay of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sons, Jeff Moore and wife Jeanette of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Glen Moore of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Abby Moore of Grand Prairie, Texas and Anna and Gracie Moore of Broken Arrow, Okla. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Donna Moore.
    Visitation will be from  6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Arkansas 5 North Alexander (501) 455-1067.     
    Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Henderson United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Lyon officiating. Graveside services will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
    The family wishes for memorials to be made to the Henderson United Methodist Church music program, 13000 West Baseline Road, Little Rock, AR 72210, 455-2209 and to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 West 12th St., Little Rock, AR, 748-3333.
