Savor the Flavor Thursday in Benton |

Courier Staff Everything is ready for the annual Savor the Flavor of Benton tasting event sponsored by the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Fitness Unlimited in Benton.
Fourteen restaurants are participating in this year’s event, Eddie Black, interim director of the chamber, said. These include Moe’s Southwest Grill, Big Red (Cock of the Walk), Sonic Drive-In, Colton’s Steak House, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Pizza Hut of Benton, Dizzy’s Grill and Bistro, Darlin’s Cafe, Burger King, Saline Hospital, Bo’s Bar-B-Q, Brown’s Country Kitchen, Ed & Kay’s and Sakura.
The cost is $10 per person.
Door prizes will be given throughout the event and will include gift certificates or food vouchers donated by area restaurants.
The grand prize for the event will be a collection of gift certificates or food vouchers from the area restaurants, Black noted.
The person winning the grand prize must attend the event, but does not have to be present at the time the grand prize winner is announced, Black said.
“We will be providing van and golf cart shuttles to help with adjacent parking to alleviate parking issues we have faced in the past at this event,” Black said.
“This is a great event and a good chance to have fun and to see what our area restaurants have to offer,” he said. “Come join us.” |
