Duelious ‘Dude’ Sutton E-mail

Duelious “Dude” Sutton, 90, of Benton died Saturday, April 19, 2008.
He was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Shaw to Claude and Pearl Sutton.
Mr. Sutton was retired from Alcoa and was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lelsie Hicks; and a brother, Dolan Sutton.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Aline Sutton; a brother, D.O. Sutton of Benton; and three sisters, Eloise Romeo of Benton, Mavis Labor of New Rockford, N.D., and Marilyn Applegate of Mobile, Ala.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home, with burial in New Rosemont Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Richey will officiate.
Pallbearers are Billy Benham, J. W. Northern, Martin Northern, Ronny Sutton, Ed Thieme and Larry Whitley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
