Eloise Ashley Horton, 68, of Benton died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton.  
She was born July 24, 1939, in Hot Spring County to Myrtie Z. and Lorene Shinn Ashley.  
Mrs. Horton retired as a senior underwriter for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in the Antioch community and a member of Little Creek Golf Club in Ratcliff.  
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C. Jerry Horton; and a brother, Randell Ashley.
Survivors include her daughter, Robin Horton Hensley and husband Don of Bismarck; a sister, Ruth Ashley Steuart and husband Charles of Benton; two granddaughters, Jillian Hill and husband Johnny of Bryant and Megan Hensley of Bismarck; five great-grandchildren, Micah, Noah, Ella and Eli Hill of Bryant and Logan Montgomery of Bismarck; three nieces, Gretchen Hendricks of Donaldson, Ashley Hendricks of Nashville, Tenn., and Shanda Ashley of Donaldson; and a nephew, Shane Ashley of Donaldson.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern with the Rev. Doyle Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Bayou Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Raymond Crow, Wayne Ritter, George Regan, Steve Jessen, Johnny Hill and Don Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Bismarck High School Class of 1957 and Saline Memorial Hospice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
