The fourth annual Saline County Single Parent Scholarship Fund luncheon, sponsored by Central Arkansas Development Council, raised an estimated $3,500 on the lawn of the Saline County Courthouse on Thursday. The funds help higher education scholarship recipients offset emergency costs such as child care, car repair, fuel, books and tuition not covered by other sources.
