Undercover buy results in arrest of two people |

Margaret Ann Butler, 51, and Samuel Rene Norris, 32, both of Benton were arrested May 7 after allegedly selling crack cocaine in undercover buys set up by Saline County Sheriff’s Office narcotics ddetectives, according to a sheriff’s report.
Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Frost said the undercover buys took place two weeks ago and detectives served warrants on Butler and Norris on Wednesday.
Butler was taken into custody at the Saline County jail and Norris was taken into custody at his residence in Benton by sheriff’s office warrants officers.
Both Butler and Norris are charged with class Y felony delivery of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
Butler’s address is listed at 111 Johnson St. in Benton.
Norris’ address is listed at 1519 S. Neely St. in Benton. |
