Raven Glen Rogers, 87, of Alexander, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Little Rock.
He was born on May 14, 1921, in Paragould to Hollie A. and Georgia F. Cleveland Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Lena Cousins Rogers; his parents; a son, Glen Rogers; and his siblings.
Mr. Rogers was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and a farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Pertius of Alexander; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Rogers of Alexander; five grandsons, Bucky Bearden and wife Rebekah, James Bearden and wife Susie, James Raven Rogers, Jon Bearden and wife Kim and Terry Bearden and wife Krystle; ten great- grandchildren; a great-nephew, David Pruitt; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Cameron Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Sterling officiating.
Pallbearers are Bucky Bearden, James Bearden, James Rogers, Jon Bearden, Terry Bearden and Stacie Cato.
Honorary pallbearers are David Pruitt and Wayne Pruitt.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
