Edith A. Brewer, 66, of Hot Springs died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at a local hospital.
She was born April 11, 1942, to Ceril Quinton and Vivinell Jewell Harrell Turner in Mabelvale, Ark.
Mrs. Brewer was a certified nursing assistant and a member of Pearcy Full Gospel Light House Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cecile Vick; and a brother, David Turner.
Survivors include her husband, Reuben E. Brewer of Hot Springs; four children, Jimmy Brewer and wife Elena, Donna Kunau and husband Loren, Sharon Jones and husband Mike, all of Hot Springs, and John Brewer of Glen Rose; five sisters, Alice Weeks of Bebee, Virginia Styers of Benton, Ellen Anderson of Adona, Catherine Hobby of Benton and Charlotte Burgess of Mablevale; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home with the Rev. David Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Branndon Karr, Jason Kunau, Bradley Kunau, Michael Jones, Gabe Brewer, Nathan Hobby and Terry Brown.
