Ferrel L. Price, 71, Benton, went to be with his Savior on June 12, 2008.  
He was born Nov. 16, 1936, to Charlie Merrell and Myrtle Price.
Ferrel was retired from Parts Warehouse as a truck driver, was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church, Dixie Car Club and Mid-State Car Club, where he loved showing his 1964 Comet. He loved camping, visiting with the “Saturday Night Group”. He truly loved his wife, children, grandchildren. Ferrel enjoyed sharing his life in all their activities.
Ferrel was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Price, and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Price; two daughters, Ronda Shelman and husband Larry and Tracie Van Skiver, both of Benton; two sons, Lt. Col. Eric Price, currently serving in Mosul, Iraq, and wife, Judi and Barry Sproul and wife Tracy of Benton; a brother, Bobby and his wife Brenda of Roland; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Bradley, Cassie, Corey, Christopher, Dylan, Amelia, Daniel, Ryan, Conner and Robert; and a great- grandchild, Destiny.
Chapel service by Ashby Funeral Home will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Bro. Tommy Miller will be officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church.
