Marie Medlin, 83, of Benton died Saturday, July 12, 2008.
She was born May 11, 1925, in Benton to John and Maude Woodall.
Mrs. Medlin was a homemaker and a member of United Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Medlin.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James R. Medlin and wife Sheila of Benton; three daughters, Angela Strand of Bryant, Deborah Hawley and husband Bill of Benton and Lois Richardson of Benton; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Robertson of Fort Smith.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Fairplay Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
