Family comments: Doug’s rich life was lost to a 22-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully at home, as he wanted, with family surrounding him. The family thanks Dr. Lawrence Mendelsohn for helping him maintain the quality of life he wanted during his illness. Thanks also go to Dr. Angelo Coppola Jr., Dr. Chris Cate, Dr. Chris Skelley, nurses and staff of 10A and 5A at Baptist Medical Center; and Annette s Nursing Service. Special thanks go to all the dear friends and family who helped Doug complete major things on his  to-do  list who were there for him.
