Ken Perritt, 57, of Mabelvale died Monday, July 28, 2008. He was born June 21, 1951, in Chicago to Doris and Walter Perritt. A resident of the Little Rock area since 1972, Mr. Perritt was an extraordinary carpenter. He finished building his family’s home in 1987 and his work was shown on the cover of the May 2008 edition of “At Home in Arkansas” magazine. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Yoriko “Lola” Perritt; two sons, Benjamin Loail Perritt and Samuel Kenneth Perritt, both of Little Rock; a brother, Freddie Perritt and wife Kelly of Gillett; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Loail and Terry Sims of Arkadelphia; two nephews, Alex Perritt and David Sims; two nieces, Lydia Perritt and Sarah Sims; and many aunts, uncles and extended family members. A gathering in remembrance of Mr. Perritt will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home in Alexander.
