Brenda Hope E-mail
Monday, 04 August 2008

Brenda Hope, 48, of Benton passed away Friday Aug. 1, 2008, in Little Rock. She was born April 25, 1960 in Malvern.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Bill Hope Jr.; her parents, Edwin and Nancy Finney of Malvern; a son, William Hope III and daughter-in-law, Amber Hope: a son, Jonathan Hope and daughter-in-law, Devan Hope; four grandchildren, Shelby and Will Hope IV and Logan and Jack Landon Hope, all of Benton; a brother, Carl Finney, of Prattsville; a sister, Judith Kenny of Malvern; and her beloved companion, Sasha.
Brenda was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Brenda and Bill began their lifelong romance when Brenda called Bill in seventh grade to tutor her in algebra. Brenda and Bill were perfect for each other and from that moment on, they were inseparable. It was not uncommon to see Brenda riding around the neighborhood with her grandchildren on a golf cart and boat-riding with her family and friends at Lake Ouachita.
She brought us all together and was the center of everything in our lives. Brenda was always the first person to offer support or lend a helping hand. She put everyone else first. Every day when Brenda woke up, her first thought was “What can I do to help someone today?” We will never forget her loving smile and infectious laugh.
Funeral service will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. Burial service will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell.
Visitation will be held at Ashby Funeral Home Monday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.
