Donald Wayne “Danny” Self, 51, of Benton died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at St. Vincent Infirmary.
He was born May 22, 1957, in Holly Grove to Grover Cleveland and Jessie Mae Self.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Self.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Self of Benton; his mother, Jessie Mae Barnes of Marianna; three sons, Brian Self, Blaine Jones and Clayton Self, all of Benton; two daughters, Stacey Self of Seymour, Tenn., and Tara Wilson; four grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Self of Marianna.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Roller-Citizens Funeral home in West Helena. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery at Lexa.
Pallbearers are Robert Stanton, Blaine Jones, Randall Lambert, Seth Brainerd, Tom Corp and Jimmy Penix.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
