Betty Lou Roewe, 79, of Benton, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008.  
She was born on May 17, 1929, in Pocahontas to Marvin and Lillian Mays Brooks.
Mrs. Roewe was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Guest.
Survivors incluade her husband, Merton Roewe of Benton; two sons, Richard Tedford and wife Jan and Mark Tedford and wife Donna, all of Benton; one daughter, Kathy King and husband Olan of Benton; one stepdaughter, Lisa Roewe of Fouke; two grandchildren, Kevin King and Marissa Tedford; three stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Roller-Ballard Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Richard Grant officiating. Entombment will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park.         
Pallbearers are Olan King, Kevin King, Mike Price, Dan Billingsley, Dennis “Bubba” Byrd and Glen Kordsmeier.  
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the funeral home (315-4047).
Memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice, 23157 Interstate 30, Bryant, AR 72022.
